Feature Story: WTU to Release Publication Commemorating 44 Years of Service to the Church
For over 44 years, WTU has been home to a world-class faculty and a resource for spiritual nourishment and transformation for students of every vocation. To commemorate our years of service to the Church, Washington Theological Union will publish a book entitled: Our Gift to the Future: Washington Theological Union's Contribution to Theology & Ministry.
Our Gift to the Future will include information about the founding of WTU, its rich theological history and the contributions of its many alumni to the Church. This publication will be available through WTU to those interested in purchasing a copy. We will also include a section for friends, supporters, and alums of WTU to include special messages of appreciation.
Would you like to submit a printed message of appreciation to the WTU community? This message should reflect your charism or affiliation with Washington Theological Union. Messages can be full page, half page or one quarter page in size. CLICK HERE to learn more.

Attending to the Spiritual Landscape of the Millennial Generation
Join the Spiritual Direction Studies Program at the Washington Theological Union on Saturday, March 3, 2012, 10:00 am - 11:30 am for a free presentation entitled “Attending to the Spiritual Landscape of the Millennial Generation,” presented by spiritual director Patience Robbins and Franciscan friar and author, Daniel P. Horan, OFM.
Patience Robbins, an experienced spiritual director of 25 years, will offer her observations around working with young adults of the Millennial Generation in spiritual direction.
Daniel P. Horan, OFM, a Franciscan Friar and author, will present some of the latest research about the spiritual and sociological characteristics of the Millennial Generation, those young people born between/around 1982 and 2002, with an eye toward how spiritual directors might better understand and engage today’s young adults.
Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
