Advent Lessons & Carols and the Installation of the Very Rev. Frederick J. Tillotson as President of WTU

On December 4th, Washington Theological Union celebrated its Fr. Fred Tilliotson's InstallationAdvent Lessons and Carols with the Installation of the Very Rev. Father Frederick J. Tillotson O.Carm. as President of Washington Theological Union. The Advent lessons eloquently brought us through salvation history, giving graced moments for reflection on our Christian message. The choir did an outstanding job leading well over 200 people in prayer-filled song. Many attendees agreed that the installation of our president within the framework of Advent lessons and carols produced an event which mirrored the Christian mission of our institution. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and attended! After Father Tillotson proclaimed his oath of fidelity and was installed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, he spoke to the congregation, briefly outlining our forty year history and announcing five innovative goals for our future.
