This Week at WTU
Looking Ahead: Board of Trustee's MeetingThis Friday the WTU Board of Trustees will be meeting in the CE Room. Please welcome these wonderful men and women whose dedication to Washington Theological Union is evident in our beautiful facility, dedicated faculty and fine academic program. Faculty E-mail AddressesIf you want to email a faculty member, please use the following email address, unless the faculty or staff member has directed you to contact them another way: last name@wtu.edu or first initial, last name@ wtu.edu. May 2010 WTU Tour to Turkey and Greece
Once again professors Theresa Koernke, IHM, and Joseph Wimmer, OSA, are organizing a study tour in the footsteps of John and Paul, May 14-27, 2010, but this time with a greater emphasis on the growth of the early church. Tour members will follow Paul through the ancient Greek and Roman ruins of Athens, Corinth, Thessalonica, Philippi and Ephesus, and read his letters on location. They will experience the spirit of St. John in the city of Smyrna and while walking through the magnificent ruins of Pergamum and Ephesus (Rev 2:1-17). Theology EnrichmentWashington Theological Union has a wonderful, but little known benefit for alumni, diocesan clergy and local ministers. As a continuing education ministry WTU graciously allows these groups to audit one course per semester for the low, low rate of $340/course! Registration ends next Friday, November 20th, so see the Spring Course offerings and registration form now! |
