A Weekly e-Newsletter for the WTU Community

November 15, 2009

Greetings!

Welcome to the ePISTLE! This weekly newsletter combines our student newsletter, The Pulse, and our monthly alumni newletter, The Epistle. We hope that the combined newsletter will encourage students to connect with our alumni and keep the alumni—and the entire WTU community—up-to-date on all the great work that Washington Theological Union continues to do. Please let us know what you think by emailing pr@wtu.edu!

Registration Deadline for Spring 2010

Please note:
This is the last week to register for Spring courses. We need registrations as soon as possible to insure that courses do not get cancelled.

A Special Welcome

The welcome mat is out!On Thursday, November 19th Washington Theological Union will welcome Christine Costello as Assistant Director of Institutional Advancement. Chris comes to the Union with a background in development, first with Catholic University of America and most recently with the Christ Child Society. Her office will be located in Room 308. Joan Knetemann will be hosting a welcome reception for her on Thursday at 3pm in Room 309. All are welcome!

Theology Enrichment

Washington Theological Union has a wonderful, but little known benefit for alumni, diocesan clergy and local ministers. As a continuing education ministry WTU graciously allows these groups to audit one course per semester for the low, low rate of $340/course! Registration ends next Friday, November 20th, so see the Spring Course offerings and registration form now!

Website Revision

Along with this new ePISTLE you'll notice some changes at www.wtu.edu! It's not a full scale overhaul, but rather the beginning of a new effort at ongoing development with WTU's website. For now, you'll see some aesthetic changes, some Flash interactions within the site, and some increased content. Stay tuned! There's more to come.
