The Washington Theological Union, and the Paulist Fathers are mourning the passing of Father Larry Boadt, CSP on July 24th. Father Boadt taught at Washington Theological Union from 1976 to 1997 and was a Professor Emeritus of Sacred Scripture, specializing in the Old Testament. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 28th at the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle in New York City. A memorial service is being planned for Washington DC. Father Boadt's Washington, D.C., memorial Mass will take place on Friday, Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m. In the chapel of St. Paul's College followed by a reception with the chance to hear reminiscences from some of Father Boadt's friends.
