Location
Washington Theological Union anchors one end of Takoma Park's charming and historic business district. The Takoma Park neighborhood of Washington, DC and the state of Maryland is a vital urban area at the crossroads of many cultures and nationalities. The Union is a few blocks from the Metrorail system, providing easy access to downtown Washington, just a few minutes away, with its offerings of monuments, government buildings, art galleries and museums, theaters, and other cultural attractions.
From Beltway
I-495/95, exit 28B south at New Hampshire Avenue. Four miles to Eastern Avenue, turn right. Eastern to third stop sign at Laurel Street, NW. Washington Theological Union is at the corner. For parking, turn left onto Laurel. Go one block. Parking is on the right.
Using Washington's Metrorail System
WTU is located just three blocks from the Takoma Station on Metro's Red Line (see Metro's website).
From Downtown
North Capitol Street north to Blair Road, continue to Aspen, turn right under railroad/metro tracks. Two blocks on Aspen. Left at Laurel, then one block to corner of Eastern. Parking lot is at the corner of Aspen and Laurel.
